 Orange and Cardamom Energy Balls for Dieting  



Ingredients:  

- 1 cup of rolled oats  

- 1/2 cup of almonds (raw or roasted, unsalted)  

- 1/2 cup of dates (pitted)  

- 2 tablespoons of fresh orange juice  

- 1 teaspoon of orange zest  

- 1/2 teaspoon of ground cardamom  

- A pinch of sea salt (optional)  


Preparation:  

1. Blend the Ingredients:  

   In a food processor, combine the oats, almonds, and dates. Blend until the mixture forms a coarse texture.  


2. Add Flavor:  

   Add orange juice, orange zest, ground cardamom, and a pinch of sea salt if desired. Blend again until the mixture comes together in a dough-like consistency.  


3. Shape the Energy Balls:  

   Take small portions of the mixture and roll them into bite-sized balls. If the mixture is too sticky, lightly wet your hands or coat them with a bit of oat flour.  


4. Chill and Serve:  

   Place the energy balls in an airtight container and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving. They can be stored in the fridge for up to a week.
