Recipe: Buttery Crispy Cookies with Easy Steps



Ingredients:

  • 1 cup butter (at room temperature)
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 1/4 cups flour
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 cup milk (optional, for better texture)

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Dough:

    • In a large bowl, beat the butter with powdered sugar using an electric mixer until smooth and creamy.
    • Add the vanilla extract and salt, mixing well.
    • Gradually add the flour and mix until the dough comes together. If the dough feels too dry, add the milk a little at a time until it reaches a soft consistency.
  2. Shape the Cookies:

    • Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
    • Roll the dough into small balls about the size of a walnut and place them on the baking sheet with space between each.
    • Use a fork to gently press down on the cookies, flattening them slightly.
  3. Bake:

    • Bake the cookies for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown.
